The risen Christ is the righteous one who by his sacrificial death on the cross of Calvary has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life. He was sinless from conception as his mother was a sinless virgin who conceived her baby as the angel had told her in a dream, and the virgin Mary put to birth her baby boy, shepherds and shepherdesses came to worship him as he was wrapped and placed in the manger.
He was without sin so he was God’s own chosen one to propitiate and repair wrong doing; he intercedes for us at the right hand of the father. Christ came in the form of man a human being like us but his sinless state made him stay close to God the father. His father Joseph was a humble character, submitting to the will of God for his life, God is in union with Christ to take away the sin of mankind and this purpose is accomplished which means that if anyone is in Christ he or she is a new creature, the old creature has passed away and the message of Christianity is passed on to friends and relatives, the new creature sees favor, grace, and mercy which abound in the love of Christ.
My love is in Christ’s love so by his resurrection we are alive with him, we have accepted his death and resurrection to acquire compassion for the sins we commit day in and day out. We have accepted him as our personal Lord and savior. It is all a mystery and this dogma continues to puzzle humankind but with faith and love sent to us through the Holy Spirit we can overcome temptation and carry on in the loving arms of the blessed trinity, we will stay blessed as adopted children having Christ as the lamb that was slain.
