Competition is in general, a contest or rivalry between two or more entities, organisms, animals, individuals, economic groups or social groups, etc. R’s tech is battling with this topic within the range Face book, Twitter, Microsoft, Google, Tik Tok, Pinterest, WhatsApp, Instagram, Linkedin, Apple, Amazon. The reason for this competition is that the spaces available for a certain objectives to be achieved is limited, costly and cannot be shared, so the individuals having the same chances to gain or achieve through anyone method begin to contest for available spaces such as in job seeking. Therefore a person will lack a post of responsibility because there is no vacancy for them, or lack because of a lack of expertise in the arena of technology.
A niche is a defined territory with scarcity of resources, goods, for mates, in quest for prestige recognition and admiration, for group or social status, or for similar brands, fame and achievement. Every niche needs resources and materials to go with and this may be limited, overcrowding will cause the fittest to survive since the incapacitated will despair and drop out. It arises whenever at least two parties strive for a goal which cannot be shared, where one’s gain is the other’s loss.
Competition occurs in our habitats because we have common measurable and deliverables between living organisms which co-exist in the same natural habitat or environment. Co-existing and expressing peace at the same time especially as a matter of policy like two countries may end up doing even though they have had years of conflict especially with matters like land dispute and border crisis. For example, animals compete over resources like water supplies, food and mates. Humans usually compete for wealth, power, food and mates. Competition is also a major tenet of marketing economies and business. It is often associated with business competition as most companies are in competition with at least one other firm over the same group of customers; market share. Also competition inside a company is usually stimulated with the larger purpose of meeting and reaching higher quality of services or improved products that the company may produce or develop.
