The eyes are a lamp to your body nobody lights a lamp and puts it under the lamp stand, if you do that the light will not shine all over as such the room will still be in darkness, instead when a lamp is lit it is placed on the top of the lamp stand so that it shines through all the corners of the house. The lamp shines just like the old broom which knows old the corners of the house and keeps it shining, the sparkle. At the age of fifty you must start to worry about eye care because without your eyes to see you will need assistance to go everywhere you want to go, the bathroom, the kitchen, to the church and so forth, thus it is advisable to keep a check on your eyes with your eye unit as the ophthalmologist and optician have a lot to do with cleaning eyes that are dirty. This is why we say the insurance policies can cover what you need most at a premium price depending on who is offering you coverage, be it your business, your employer or the government you will have to choose wisely.

I have been suffering from dry and itchy eyes for the past seven years, I have been to the doctor’s unit like twice with the same problems but unfortunately my finances cannot pay me new lenses, the old ones were paid for by my siblings but they all got broken in my eyes as I wore them to go about my daily activities upon taking them out as usually to go to bed at night the lens frame was broken in my face without any contact on anyone or anything so I am pissed off and trying other options. Now in order to not suffer these serious dryness and itches I stumbled on some YouTube videos eye care and healthy tips in caring for eye problems so I have this to share with you today maybe your condition will improve, there are two sides to the formula for eye care the healthy foods and some exercises. I have been on this treatment for two years, if you like take this from me, omega 3 fatty acids in sardine are the fastest relief so if can afford it pay it, because it helps liquefy solidified unhealthy fats and because it is better fat the unhealthy fats must succumb to its higher quality and pack out of the system, a word to a wise is enough, if you have ears hear me.

This article is sharing ways to help you have a healthier eye, this is part of your healthy diet so take it seriously, it should not alter your regular meal at all just to augment it, it comes from experience, and my personal touch of self care is my offering to you. For my case I understand that I suffered third degree burns when I was roasted by a Tilly lamp by my siblings when I was a toddler that’s why precaution is important to me, my doctor had warned that I will later in life suffer eye trauma, now science can curb the effect of this end state slightly to my favor.

13 ways to prevent eye sight trouble

1) Eat foods orange in color (tangerine, orange, carrots, egg yolk pumpkin)

2) Omega 3 capsule. Liquid (fish, tuna, sardines)

3) Green leafy vegetables

4) Almonds ( add to salads and cereals)

5) Avoid eye make-up like lashes and liners in eyes

6) Adequate sleep

7) Screen breaks 20 -20–20 rule 20 seconds / 8 hours a day (10 minutes every hour)

8) Eye exercise

9) Walks, runs- sighting objects from afar

10) No smoking

11) Re-hydrate eyes by blinking when dry and itching also moisten eyes by splashing water

12) Cut down on alcohol or quit

13) Wear sunglasses

CARROTS

Eye exercise for 10 minutes (1 minute for each one)

1) Blink

2) Rotate your head up down / right left

3) Look right then left

4) Close your eyes and relax

5) Move gaze in different directions right left up down in circles

6) Close and open your eyes 3–5 times each

7) Move first two fingers at the side of eyes slowly in motioning

8) Draw geometric figures –square-rectangle-circle

9) Close eyes move eyeballs up & down repeat 5x

10) Focus on thump, then on object 1, 2, 3 then back to thump (15 seconds per object)
